Summary of Role
To deliver an excellent client focused legal service, advising on M&A and equity investment transactions as well as general corporate finance related work as part of a successful and collegiate growing team.
Key Tasks
- Manage your workload competently, professionally, efficiently and cost effectively to achieve client and Firm objectives.
- Be pro-active in the financial control of all your own matters, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing.
- Play a client-facing role in transactions and take responsibility for maintaining client relationships,
- Build strong connections within the business community in Scotland (including with the key legal and financial advisors who regularly advise on corporate transactions).
- Contribute constructively to the work of other members of the Corporate Division.
- Support the Firm's and specifically, Corporate Division's marketing initiatives and attend regular business development and networking events.
- Participate in CPD/training activities of the division/team and contribute to organising and delivering training to meet business objectives and the firm's requirements for CPD.
Qualifications and Experience
- 4 to 8+ years PQE with Corporate experience

- You have excellent communication skills, you are articulate, you communicate clearly, concisely and without any jargon.
- You enjoy working within a team and autonomously on your own initiative.
- You are personable and good at building and developing client relationships.
- You are confident and you have a strong belief in yourself and your own ability.
- You are committed to providing a good client experience and willing to put in extra time and effort when required.
